When it comes to getting your business performing, Sam is well versed in what it takes to make things happen. Since joining UDC Finance in 2017, he has been honing his skills and finding solutions in the asset finance space for small to medium sized businesses. In 2023, Sam joined the northern region commercial team as Commercial Manager covering the Northland and Auckland areas.
Sam prides himself on his relationship management skills. He excels at understanding his customers’ needs and executing asset finance solutions to help them succeed. Sam loves supporting his customers, new and established, from the ground up and being a finance partner for the long run.
Covering a large area between the Big Smoke and the Winterless North is no stretch for Sam. He and his partner Ellie are frequently on the road between Auckland and Whangarei where Ellie’s family is from. They spend plenty of time at Whangarei Heads throughout the summer – the climb up Mount Mania never gets old!
Warren has 20+ years of banking experience, with a focus over the last 15 years on specialist and target markets. He has strong experience in asset finance for commercial and motor, and brings expertise in business development, SMEs, credit and risk, and strategy to his role as Commercial Manager at UDC Finance.
With a lifetime passion for transport, a highlight of Warren’s role is focusing on fleet and owner driver finance. He loves to see growth with his clients’ businesses, building his extensive networks and having real conversations with clients about where they see their businesses going.
Other focus areas for Warren include forklifts, civil and construction, and more recently agriculture contracting and helicopters.
In his spare time, Warren regularly MCs at motorsport events, produces articles and photographs for a major NZ publication, indulges in low ‘n’ slow barbeque and pretends to be able to taste different things in whisky.
Eldho joined UDC in 2019. where he provides support to our Auckland Commercial team.
Focusing on owner-drivers in the road transport industry, Eldho says the highlight of his job at UDC is the relationships he’s able to build with his clients.
Having moved to New Zealand from India when he was young, Eldho is fluent in Malayalam and English, and speaks a bit of Hindi, too. He loves that his language skills can make it easier to connect and migrant businesses in Auckland.
On the weekends, you’ll find Eldho exploring the great outdoors - fishing, hiking or planning his next trip away. He’s already visited 24 countries, including a trip to hike Everest Base Camp.
Alistair joined UDC in 2019, bringing more than 30 years of banking and finance experience to the team. As a people leader, Alistair thrives on helping teams and individuals grow. He brings his enthusiasm for New Zealand business into every interaction he has as Regional Manager and never shies away from rolling up his sleeves and mucking in with his team.
Building long-term relationships both personally and professionally is a core value for Alistair. He believes these relationships should be built on honesty, respect, and enthusiasm, and brings these values into his everyday work.
Outside of work, you will find Alistair spending time with his family or enjoying a cold beer with friends and colleagues at his local establishment.
